I am developing a range of applications built on Apex using MaxApex.
The 3 Layer architecture in the left-hand side of this diagram shows my approach :-

I am very concerned by the fact that a recent major press conference by Oracle about their Cloud Platform made no mention of Apex which I would have expected be an important part of their Cloud future.
I would welcome your thoughts.
